Pyrotek has introduced new rail damping technology to the transport market.

Decidamp RTD (Rail Track Damper) has been engineered to optimise maximum vibration damping across critical frequency ranges. Its low-maintenance, lightweight characteristics mean less downtime for installation and upkeep. It is a high-performance polymeric damper, locally developed to greatly reduce structure-borne noise generated during contact between the track and rolling stock wheels.

Maximum Vibration Performance
Decidamp RTD is tuned across critical frequencies between 630–2500 Hz to provide maximum vibration performance.

Quick Installation
Specially designed brackets allow for easy and simple placement of track dampers using Decidamp DX paste, making installation quick and seamless.

Ready for Major Infrastructure Projects

Engineered for Safety
Decidamp RTD has been engineered for safety, with low smoke emission and zero volatiles, making it suitable for use in tunnel applications.

Manufactured Lighter
The lighter-weight polymeric damping pad provides a quick and easy installation with less weight, offering a more cost-effective solution. The result is quieter tunnels, platforms and carriages.

Large Supply Capability
For major projects, Pyrotek has a large supply capability to handle infrastructure challenges and support the requirements of major rail and infrastructure projects.

Decidamp RTD provides a lightweight, low-maintenance and high-performance solution for reducing vibration and structure-borne noise across critical rail applications.
