Pyrotek Showcases Rail Innovation at AusRAIL Plus 2025

Pyrotek had a great time at AusRAIL Plus 2025, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in Victoria, Australia. AusRAIL provides a valuable platform for industry collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

Representing Pyrotek at the event were Michael Kierzkowski from our Melbourne team and Alexander Rasa from our Sydney team, who welcomed visitors to our stand and engaged with industry professionals on the future of rail transport and passenger comfort.

Throughout the event, we showcased our leading rail solutions and technologies that are helping deliver safer, quieter, and more efficient rail networks around the world. Visitors to our stand learned about Pyrotek's contribution to major rail projects, including products featured across the Sydney Metro network, as well as our growing pipeline of rail projects throughout Australia and internationally.

We also highlighted our partnership with Siemens Mobility and Indian Railways, where Pyrotek engineered a specialised flooring system for the first 60 of 1,200 WAG10 9000 HP Co-Co locomotives. Designed for heavy freight transportation, these next-generation locomotives can haul up to 4,500 tonnes at speeds of up to 120 km/h. The flooring system, manufactured by Pyrotek India.

The event also provided an excellent opportunity to explore emerging trends shaping the rail sector, including sustainable transport initiatives, network expansion projects, digital transformation, and innovations in rail vehicle design. These discussions reinforce the industry's commitment to delivering efficient, reliable, and passenger-focused transport solutions for the future.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and took the time to connect with our team. Pyrotek is proud to support the rail industry and looks forward to continuing to partner with leading clients locally and globally through innovative materials, engineering expertise, and solutions that improve acoustic comfort and passenger experience in modern transport systems.
