Engine Bay

Sorberbarrier™ is a composite product, designed to reduce the transmission of noise from the engine bay to the interior of the vehicle, and to absorb reflected noise within the engine bay. Sorberbarrier is available in a range of different foam thicknesses, barrier weights and facing types.

 

Engine Cowlings

Use Wavebar^® Quadzero^® to line engine cowlings to reduce engine noise transmitted into the vehicle's interior. Faced with reinforced foil to provide good mechanical strength and fire protection, Wavebar Quadzero is available in different barrier weights to suit requirements.

 

Door and Floor Panels

Vibradamp™ products can be applied to steel flooring to reduce engine and road noise travelling into the surrounding structure of the carriage. Also suitable, Soundpaint^®, a water-based compound is easily applied by spray or trowel. Soundmat™ has a hard wearing surface that can be used as the final covering for flooring.
