Engine Bay

Sorberbarrier™ is a composite product, designed to reduce the transmission of noise from the engine bay to other areas of the vehicle, and to absorb reflected noise within the engine bay. Available in a range of different foam thicknesses, barrier weights and facing types.

Engine Cowlings

Use Sorberbarrier to line under the bonnet and along firewall to reduce engine noise transmitted into the vehicle's interior. Faced with reinforced foil to provide good mechanical strength and fire protection, Sorberbarrier is available in a range of different foam thicknesses and barrier weights.

Floor

Use Wavebar^® Quadzero^® to up-rate flooring systems and reduce engine noise transmitted into the vehicle's interior. Available in different barrier weights to suit requirements.

Install Wavebar^® Original to the floor area, where a barrier only is required. Available in different barrier weights to suit requirements.

Use Silentstep^® underneath interior carpet or floor mats to reduce the transmission of engine noise. Silentstep is manufactured in the same thickness as standard underlay and providing superior comfort.

Vibradamp™ products can be applied to steel flooring to reduce engine and road noise travelling into the surrounding structure of the vehicle. Also suitable, Soundpaint^®, is a water-based compound that is easily applied by spray or trowel.

Soundmat™ has identical acoustic properties as Silentstep, but with a hard wearing surface that can be used as the final covering.
