Door & Floor Panels

Decidamp^® products can be applied to steel flooring to reduce engine and road noise. Also suitable, Soundpaint^®, a water-based compound is easily applied by spray or trowel.

Under Bonnet & Firewall

Use Wavebar^® Quadzero^® to line under the bonnet and along firewall to reduce engine noise transmitted into the vehicle's interior. Faced with foil to provide good mechanical strength and fire protection, Wavebar Quadzero is available in a range of different thicknesses and barrier weights.

Floor Pan & Boot

Use Silentstep^® carpet underlay underneath interior carpet or floor mats and in the boot area to reduce the transmission of engine noise. Silentstep is manufactured in the same thickness as standard underlay and provids superior comfort. Soundmat™ has identical acoustic properties as Silentstep, but with a hard wearing surface that can be used as the final covering.
