Soundmetal^®

 Soundmetal MPM (Metal-Plastic-Metal) is a fully damped metal composite comprising two layers of metal laminated together using a layer of a viscoelastic polymer.

Using the “constrained layer” principle, the function of the vicsoelastic interlayer is to damp structure borne sound.

Soundmetal MPM is free from resonance and coincidence phenomena which often detract from the performance of other acoustic insulation materials.

Soundmetal is available in steel, galvanised steel and aluminium.
