Acoustick Adhesive

Contact adhesives are liquid adhesives based on solvent solutions of synthetic rubber. They are so named because they are usually applied to both surfaces to be bonded. (Activated on contact) 

Following evaporation of the solvent, the two surfaces may be joined and then pressed together at light to moderate pressure to form a strong bond with high resistance to shearing forces. A bond of high initial strength is achieved on contact between the two adhesive coated surfaces.
